Something to Smile About.

Two years...two years of NO GUM, which has been torture I might add...

NO taffy, caramel, popcorn, nuts and all sorts of goodies, all because of braces! Well, Kylee's braces are NO MORE and she couldn't be more excited about it. She no longer has to cut up an apple to eat it, or scrape corn off of the cob in the summertime...WOO HOO!

This poor girl started out with a mess of a mouth. She is tiny everywhere, which can be a blessing, but when it comes to a tiny mouth it's not such a great thing. Her teeth were one heck of a mess. In fact, her Orthodontist said that she was his worse case in YEARS!!! (Probably since my nephew, Kyle!)

Well, thanks to the wonderful Orthodontist that he is, Kylee now has a beautiful smile. She did a great job with not eating things she wasn't supposed to and made it through the two years without one broken wire. Later that afternoon we celebrated with a "Braces Off Party" which included, about 8 packs of gum (for her only) a huge tub of gooey caramel popcorn, taffy, nuts...you name it. The Ortho also gave her some balloons and a bag full of all those goodies she couldn't eat with the braces. Fun stuff!

I will be posting her before and after pics as soon as her Ortho sends them. I can't wait to see the difference. Kudos to Dr. Talbot!!!! (Highly recommended!)
