Total Cuteness!!!

Our little baby boy is now a week old. This last week has been full of lots of things. It's been an adjustment for sure but we are loving every minute of our little Cash. He is just the cutest little guy and he is spoiled to death! His big brother's and sister's think he's pretty dang neat and can't keep their hands off him. How would it be to be so loved?

We love our little man!

Our Newest Arrival

Announcing the newest member of our family...

Cash Don Fullmer
February 19, 2009
6 lbs. 2 oz.
20 in

I was unable to finish our "history" on my last post for obvious reasons so I apologize if it ended abruptly.

About 11:30 pm on Wed. night my water broke. Chet and I were just dozing off when it happened and I got out of bed and woke Chet up. I told him we were going to have an anniversary baby! From then it was pick up and go. He made it to the new IMC hospital in about 11 minutes. My contractions had not really kicked in yet so they put me on some Pit. Everything went so smooth and quick and at 5:00 am on the dot our 5th baby and third little boy was born. I can't think of a better anniversary present than this beautiful baby boy. It will make our plans on our Anniversary for the next 18 years change a bit but that's ok! I had the strongest feeling for a couple of weeks that we were going to have an Anniversary baby so I really wasn't surprised when it happened.

It all seemed so surreal to me. I was in a weird state of shock at it all. I think because he was boy (I was kind of expecting a girl in a way) and because it was the whole idea of "he's here, I'm not pregnant anymore and we're all done". It has been a bit emotional in a way thinking that it was the last time for all of that. For the whole experience and miracle of birth. Even though I know I am done I am sad that that won't happen again. It is such an amazing experience and I can't help but be sad that it won't be experienced again.

Kylee wanted to be there with us and we felt it would be kind of a neat experience to have here there. She was right there bedside when he was born. She stayed up by my head for most of it but when he crowned she wanted to watch the rest and she did! She said it was a great experience and teared up and thanked me for letting her be there. I'm glad that she was able to be there and share this last experience of having a baby with us.

We had a hard time picking out his middle name and went back and forth between Gene and Don after Chet's uncles. We had always talked about Gene but then towards the end Chet mentioned that he was actually quite closer to his Uncle Don. So, I told him it was his call and it was a very hard decision to make but in the end he just felt a lot better about naming him after Don.

He is such a sweet little guy. He has been quite sleepy so nursing that first day was quite hard. I am hoping that everything will work out and he will pick it up and do fine. Knowing that he is the last makes me really want to enjoy and take advantage of all these things. We came home today and the kids have been so excited and loving every minute of it. Not to mention Dad is quite happy to not have to leave us I'm sure.

Teeny Tiny hands!

Getting ready to leave the hospital. Had to get a pic of how tiny he is in his car seat.

15 Years and Still Going Strong!

15 years ago today I made the best decision of my life and married the most amazing man ever!

I'm sure most of you are familiar with our "history" but I kind of want to reminisce and take a quick trip down memory lane for those of you who aren't.

Chet and I both went to Bingham but he was older than I so we were never there at the same time. However, I knew Cody and that's where it, sort of, all began. Even though Cody can't take the credit for introducing us completely, it was at his farewell that I first saw Chet. I was immediately attracted to him but quickly learned that he had a girlfriend. Now, I was not one to interfere with that kind of stuff and be a "relationship wrecker"

Reasons I love Chet:

~He is so funny. He has such a great sense of humor...even though he knows it. He always makes me laugh. When I first started going over to his house (in the beginning) he seemed so shy and quiet. But the night we went to the fair I saw a whole different side of him and it was the funnest date I had ever been on. He had me laughing all night long! What's even funnier is when he tries too hard to be funny and it really isn't as funny as he seems to think it is. It's fun to see him get a kick out of it anyway :)

~He is ever the gentleman and still opens doors for me. This is something he has always done from day one and still does to this day. After having so many kids I don't often get the car door opened for me when we are getting out b/c we are both trying to get kids out of the car but he will ALWAYS open them for me when going into a building or getting IN the car.

~He has the most AMAZING dimples! I have to admit that it was one of the biggest things that attracted me to him in the first place...I am a sucker for great dimples! He also has great brown eyes with the eyelashes, great arms and chest...okay, so I find everything about him is just total HOTNESS and he still makes my heart flutter just looking at him.

~He honors his priesthood and magnifies all of his callings. I cannot explain how important these things are to me. It is such a comfort to know that he is worthy to perform those blessings and ordinances that our family needs.

~He is loyal and trustworthy. You can count on him for anything. I know that I can tell him a secret and it will not go beyond us. He will not betray anybody for any reason and I love him for that quality.

~He always puts others before himself. Sometimes I get a little selfish and can't understand why he does some things for other people especially when they never do the same in return. But he is always thinking of others and doing what he can to help them or just show that he cares. He is a great example of what it means to serve others.

~He is non judgmental. I have really had to take a lesson from him in this regard. He will always try to give someone the benefit of the doubt and look at things with an open mind. He has strong feelings on certain subjects but will still try and not judge others. He has a very forgiving heart.

~We are always on the same wave length. From day one we were always thinking the same things. We can be talking about something, or not and just start a new conversation, and one of us will start saying the same thing the other was just thinking. Sometimes we'll even start saying it at the same time and it can be something that was never even talked about before. It's almost freaky.

~He is my best friend and more. I can tell him anything. We have no secrets and I love it that way. He is always there to pick me up when I am down or when I'm having some major drama in my life. When something goes wrong he is the first person I want to talk to. I can be strong until I hear his voice and then I just have my breakdown...haha. Poor guy!

~He is an incredible Daddy! He is so good to the kids. He plays and wrestles with them and is a horrible tease. (that can be annoying at times) He is stern when he needs to be but will also take time to lay and cuddle with them. They love and adore him so much just as he does them.

~He is so smart. Sometimes he's "too" smart for his own good :) I've never known a person to know so many lyrics to songs as well as the artist and he can watch a movie once and remember a line from it months or years later...haha. But he is good with numbers and many other things. He will argue this but it's true.

~I love the way he shows so much love and respect for his parents. One thing that has always impressed me is that he STILL gives his dad a hug AND a kiss. How many grown men do you know that will KISS their dad?

~He is so fun to be with. Even if we are doing nothing I enjoy just "being" with him. From sitting home watching TV to cruising the Caribbean we have a great time together. Some women can't wait for their husband's to go back to work after they take a few days off, but I love having him around.

There are many other reasons why I love him so much but this post would never end if I were to list them all. I am just so grateful for these last 15 years of my life and look forward to many more with him. I am so proud to be his wife and I could not have chosen a better person to spend the rest of my life with and all of eternity...I just hope he will keep me that long :)

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY BABE... I LOVE YOU!!!

K, my turn. This won't be as long because I just got back from the hospital where Kim gave me the best anniversary present I could have every got. She told me to sign in and post this draft she had already wrote, so no, I didn't write all the stuff above. haha

I thought Kim was the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen the first time I saw her. I was dating somebody else at the time, but it only took one group outing to realize what I really wanted.
Kim could have any guy she wanted, and probably settled for lesser in me. No probably about that one! She has ever reason to be high on herself, but she is as sweet and humble on the inside as she is pretty on the outside. I feel like I got the better end in this deal by far!

She is a fantastic Mom. She thinks of things that need to be done and goes the extra step with our kids, where I would not have a clue.

She doesn't back down. If I am arguing about something, if she doesn't agree, she doesn't just agree with me and back down. (annoying at times yes) She keeps me in check.

She is very close to the Lord. I've always loved that about her. She has had some struggles in her young life that I don't know how I would have got through. But she put her trust where it should be and has got through them for the better I believe.

I love showing her off. I know I married well over my head and love showing people what I got. When they talk about that old wives tale about the harder you work on your mission, the better looking your wife will be? Well I knew I worked my tail off, but man, I obviously worked harder than I imagined. :)

It's been a great 15 years, and we now have 5 beautiful kids to show for our years together. I am so happy I found her!
Love you hon, and happy anniversary.

It's Great to be 8!

I can't believe my little guy is 8 years old today! It seems like yesterday that I was just holding him in my arms for the first time. Our first little boy! Yet, here we are with another birthday and another baptism to plan. Where does the time go? I remember baptizing Kylee like it was yesterday and to think that we are now baptizing our 3rd child is CRAZY!!! If I could only have one superpower I think it would be to freeze time.

He had such a great day. We let them choose what they want to eat for each meal and he wanted heart shaped "eggs in a basket" for breakfast (on his special birthday plate of course), then I took him to Winger's for his special birthday lunch and then it was heart shaped pepperoni pizza for dinner.

He opened his presents after Chet and I got home from my Dr's appt. He has been wanting a Nintendo DS for over a year now and I think we convinced him that he may not get one. Well, he did along with the Batman Lego game and some clothes. He was so excited when he saw it. He just kept hugging it to his chest and then he ran over to Chet thanking him like crazy. It nearly brought tears to my eyes. It made a gift like that worth every penny!

He had his family party and blew out candles on his "dirt, worm" cake that he wanted. He is just too cute and I'm so glad that he is a part of our family. I could not imagine what our family would be like without him. I thank Heavenly Father every day for letting me be his mommy!

So excited for his DS!

I also wanted to wish a Happy February birthday to...

Mom, who is a Valentine baby!

To my dad who turned 60 today also. And to my little bro, Ryan on the 28th...which is also my due date~

Speaking of "due date" I will be 38 weeks tomorrow, which means 2 WEEKS left! I had my Dr. appt today and was so happy to hear that I have made some progress. The last two weeks nothing had really happened, I was barely dilated to a 1 and not effaced at all. Today I am now dilated to a 1 1/2 and 60% effaced. I feel so relieved to have done something! It's still not quite what I usually am at this time (with my other pregnancies) but I'll take it. I think this baby is going to hold out until close to the end...only b/c it's the last one so it's going to be stubborn :)

Tough Little Guys!

Oh my gosh...can I just say, little boys!!!

There is a little spot on the boys' bedroom wall that is quite hidden when their closet door is open, which is basically all the time. Well today I had Talon clean his room and closet really good. When I went in there to inspect he had his closet doors shut and my eyes were drawn to something in that hidden area on the wall.

It was not one, not two, but a WHOLE family of "boogs" all over that area! Trying to keep control of my anger and my stomach I called Talon into the room. I asked him to tell me what they were doing there and he immediately said he didn't do it that he saw them and Hunter told him that HE did it. Hunter was at preschool so I left them there and waited until he got home.

When we got home I brought him into the room and I asked him what they were. He immediately got the big puppy dog eyes, shrugged his shoulders and said, "I don't know." I said, "Yes you do...did you put them there?". He nodded his head and I asked him again what they were. He replied, "cuckas" (which is what we call them in our house). So I gave him the lecture and told him he had to clean them up.

Those of you who are mother's and had to deal with this particular thing know how hard it is to clean those off the wall. Especially when who knows how long they have been there...heck, I've seen them peel off paint before! Well, I sent Hunter in with a wet washcloth and told him to start scrubbing. He came in a couple of times saying they wouldn't come off and I told him he'd have to scrub hard and maybe use his fingernails. As I am sitting in my room I can hear him in there scratching away and then I hear him say, "Oh, you are tough wittle guys!" Lol!!!

He ended up crying because they weren't coming off very easily but I told him he had to do it since he put them there. Maybe that will be a lesson learned! Sorry if it grossed you out but I got a good laugh at his little comment to the "cuckas" and felt it was definitely blog worthy! Don't worry...I won't attach any pics of them!

We Survived!

*Whew*...Talon's birthday party came and is done! I hate to say "glad that's out of the way" but honestly, I am REALLY glad that it is!

We really didn't have much of a choice of when to do it. It would have been too crazy to do it ON his birthday (which is Friday the 13th) and I really didn't want to do it on the 14th because it's Valentine's Day and I wasn't about to go any later than that because who knows when this baby will decide to come. We let him decide where he wanted it and I was ALL for letting someone else handle everything for me...entertainment, food, goody bag...

He chose Chucky's and I was totally fine with that. It was chaos, as birthday parties often are, but he had fun and that's what matters! That place was a MAD HOUSE though! It was packed solid and there was a huge wait at the door. So just FYI...don't go on a Saturday folks!

The crazy crew!

Chet swore if that rat got near him he'd rip his ears off...well, he tried to get a punch in anyway.
In all honesty it was totally worth EVERY penny having it there and everything taken care of. No mess to clean up, they provide food, entertainment...it was a VERY pregnant mom's birthday party wish come true! Not to mention I have such an awesome hubby who took care of a lot of the kid's needs and ticket cashing. How did I ever get so lucky?

7

I have to say that SEVEN is my favorite number. Not only is it supposed to be lucky but I was also born on the SEVENTH day of October. AND it is how many days I have to wait between Dr. appointments! YES... I am down to my WEEKLY appointments now and I couldn't be happier!!! I had an exam last Friday and I am dilated to a "tight" one but still very thick. Which isn't surprising considering I wasn't quite 36 weeks yet. The above pic is me at 36 weeks...DANG, does my face really look that chubby?! I have really popped out these last couple of weeks.

Now just for fun are some random pics of things that have been going on this last week. SUPERBOWL SUNDAY!!! The game day that most people look forward to...FOOTBALL, FOOD and FUN!!! I was cheering for the Cardinals and was also sitting on $80...until, the Steelers scored at the end...STUPID STEELERS!!!

This is what Chet decided to make and bring. It is called Bacon Explosion. It is 2 lbs of sausage stuffed with crisp bacon and then wrapped in about 2 1/2 lbs of bacon. Can you say HEART ATTACK?! It really was tasty but I only had a sample because just the smell of the grease as it was cooking made me nauseous. Chet got sick later that night from all of the grease and I don't think he'll be eating bacon or sausage anytime soon!

Other things ...
