Happy Independence Day!

Happy 4th of July! We hope everybody had a fun and safe holiday. We kicked off the day bright and early setting up flags in the neighborhood. It was the Young Women's turn and Chet, being the good husband that he is, got up early and helped with both the set up and take down.
Then we headed off to Grandma's house for our bbq and had to take a picture of the kids in all of their patriotic outfits. I was a bit of a slacker this year...actually the 4th snuck up on me so fast that I didn't even think about getting the kids shirts until yesterday. We went shopping but being the day before the 4th there was nothing to be found. So, the kids had to make do with what was in their drawers this year...which is never a bad thing! They all looked so cute though!

Then we headed to my Aunt's house to see my mom's cousin who is in town. She and my mom were very close growing up and last time she was here I was very little. (Too little to remember really). She is the one on the right next to Kylee. It was fun seeing my family and of course the Filipino food was a plus too!
We went back to Fullmer's for the traditional firework show and it was quite the show! Chet was more entertaining to watch than the fireworks...haha. He put together a very nice patriotic CD to play with the fireworks and put on a very good show! Game on Tammy !!! haha We had lots of fun and hope you all did too.

What a good idea to make a cd to go along with the SHOW! I bet it was great!
