After these last couple of months I've decided that my knew favorite person is GLEN!! He spent many nights and many hours helping us turn our old computer room downstairs into a bedroom for Kylee. He built a nice 8ft closet and built the closet organizer in it as well as the shelves on the other side. He also built us some really nice shelves in our garage to hold all of our big totes and other junk we've got downstairs! He is the MAN! Thanks Glen for all of your hard work and help...we love you!
Here are some before pics of the room. I took all of Chet's Dallas Cowboys decor and other football stuff down before taking these pics but this gives you an idea. The first couple are taken from the doorway. Here is the finished...well mostly finished...product! Kylee is at camp and I wanted to get it all done and put together before she got home today to surprise her. It's been a busy week trying to get it all done while she was gone. We had to take their bunks apart so I could paint it and Chet had to put the insulation in the ceiling. I still need to do a few little things like get some decor for the walls, a door knob put on the door, and her valance put up (just need to find a rod long enough) but at least she can move in and sleep down there! It's hard trying to fit as much of the room as I can in a camera shot but you get an idea right? Right now she is using her current bed comforter but maybe down the road we can get her a different one So happy to have this FINALLY done!!!

Geez, listening to her, you'd think I didn't do a thing! :)
It is very cute! What a lovely surprise to come home to!
That turned out darling. She is going to love it.
Yes, Chet did help Glen! But I think it's safe to say that Glen was the brain and skill behind it...except for the shelves in the garage. Chet had to use quite a bit of muscle for that :)
how cute!! she'll be so excited!
What a fun surprise to come home to. She is going to LOVE it. Good job, Kim! All your stressing this week has paid off.
