Down & Derby!

It's that time of year again. Where testosterone flows with force and competition is at it's peak! No, I am not talking about March Madness I am talking about Pinewood Derby!

Talon had his Pinewood Derby last night so for the last few days Chet was putting together his car. I think it's more for the dads than the scouts...they get more into it than the kids do! Talon's car did really good. He took first twice and probably would have again but they put his car in the same messed up lane TWICE! (he took last on that lane) We told them that they put him in that lane twice but they didn't seem to care enough to let them run it over. So in my opinion he probably had the fastest car out of his group. Good job dad!

Talon also got his Bobcat award.

His car coming in first!

Now onto another subject. Yes, this IS what it looks like...

It is pee. And to think it happened while I was out and about! How embarrassing! You know what happens to your bladder when you have 5 kids? It gets weak!

Now, if you will notice the date of this blog... April Fools! :)
Actually, everything I said above was true only it wasn't MY pee! It was time to do my traditional "mommy/baby" pics and I didn't want to go to a studio. I figure "why" when I have great photographer's in my own family now with great cameras. So, I ran over to Evonne's and she helped me take some great pics of Cash and I. About halfway through I was holding a naked Cash up against me as Evonne was snapping away. Suddenly, I felt REALLY warm...haha!

I guess that was him getting back at me for exposing him and making him do all these poses with a bright light flashing in his face for such a long time.

They turned out great...here are some of my faves.

I had to take the poor little guy into the Dr. today. He has some pretty bad reflux going on. Not the kind that is a lot of projectile spit-up but the kind that just keeps coming up, in small amounts several times between feedings. Poor baby just cringes and cries and his esophagus has got to be so raw. Anyway, they prescribed some meds so I am hoping that it helps. He also weighed in at 9 lbs 3 oz so he has gained 3 lbs since he was born. I can't believe he will be 6 weeks old tomorrow! He is so cute and and loves his big sister, Kylee. He calms down for more than he does for me. But I think she loves him just as much right back.

Very cute pictures. How funny and brave you are... at first I thought you were pointing to your waist line, but then I saw the wet spot. But it is pretty true about the 5 baby thing too! Ha ha!

Congratulations on the Pine Wood Derby. Yeah, the crappy lane... we know that story too.

Beautiful photos. I have been pee'd on so many times... but, the sad part is, it has always been through the diaper. Gotta love kids. Cash's pictures are so cute.
