Wednesday we had lots of rain so we decided it would be a good day to do "indoor" stuff. Just across the river on the other side of our hotel was the Gerald R. Ford Museum. It had some pretty cool exhibits starting from the time of Pres. Ford's birth until after his last election.
There was a replica of the oval office with actual furnishings and decor that he used when he was in office as The President. I will include those later. There was lots of information that I didn't know and it was really interesting to learn about. He is buried right there just outside of the museum so we got to see that and take pics as well.
We then ventured to the mall and watched "Made of Honor" much to Chet's dismay...haha. It was a cute show. We had lots of fights this night and most of our Rocky Mountain fighters lost. We only have two that won and will be moving on to the fights Thurs. and Fri. Good luck to our fighters.
Today (Thurs) we just did our own thing and bummed around town. We also got news that the presentation for the Nationals to be in SLC next year went well and we won the bid! Soooo... we will be hosting the Golden Gloves Nationals next year!!!
