Oh, how we love football in this family! Chet has been busy EVERY night during the week for the last month coaching and preparing...and now the games begin!
We went to the most anticipated high school game of the year last night...Bingham VS. Alta! Let me tell you, I think the whole city of Sandy AND South Jordan were in attendance last night. My brother-in-law got there about an hour and 15 min early and there was barely even standing room left!!! It was PACKED to say the least. There has been so much hype about this game...it is after all the biggest rivalry. Two great teams meeting up again for the first time since last year's championship game. Well, it was everything that it was expected to be and came down to the last second. Bingham coming from behind by 14 points at half to win the game 38-34! WOO HOO...
Football is definitely a favorite in this household. Although, for some of us...we think about it more than others.
Last night, in the middle of the night, I awaken to Chet cuddling with me. Kissing my cheek, kissing my shoulder, rubbing my arm....Oh, I am too tired honey!... But I look at him and he is looking directly at me. He leans in to give me a kiss so I quickly give him a kiss, turn my head and close my eyes...maybe he'll get the hint and let me sleep... Then he gently pats my face and whispers, "Hey,"...oh no!.. So I open my eyes and look at him again and as he is looking at me he says, "I've got you on the line to run the ball!".....
Now can I go back to sleep?

That is too funny! My parents were at the game, and said it was so fun! I live in Alta territory now, and all of our cute neighbor kids go there, and I LOVE the school, so I was actually cheering for both teams. My mom thinks I am a traitor.
